POST-GAME NOTES:
• The crowd of 1,319 is the fourth largest in school history. The top four attendance marks and six of the top seven have come against Army.

• Kris Huff and Justin Waskey scored their first career goals in the win over Army.

• Navy improved to 8-0-0 when scoring at least two goals in a game and are now 35-0-5 since the start of the 1999 season.

• Navy improved to 5-1-0 at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility and have scored 17 goals in six games in Annapolis.

• The win improves Navy's record against Army to 35-24-13, including 2-0-3 in the last five years. Navy is 6-0-1 at home against Army since 1993.

• Rich Miranda becomes the first Navy coach in school history to win in his first try against Army.

• Navy is guaranteed off at least a .500 record for the first time since 2001.

• Navy snapped out of a three-game winless streak for the second time this year in impressive fashion. Following its first three-game winless streak, Navy defeated American, 2-0, on Sept. 28. This time, Navy knocked off Army, 4-2.

• The four goals against Army are the most in the series for Navy since the 1997 contest.

• Eight players figured in the scoring for Navy against Army.

• Tom Shelly and Zach Pleis scored their first points of the year against Army, and brings the season total of Mids who have scored this year to 17. Twelve players have scored goals for Navy this year and 14 have contributed assists.

• Zach Pleis' three career points in 40 career games have all come against Army. He scored the game-winning goal as a freshman in 2003 against the Black Knights.
