Navy Preview
The Midshipmen return three starters, nine letterwinners and 11 players from last year's squad which posted a 14-14 record on the year and placed fourth in the Patriot League with a 7-7 mark.

The fourth-place showing was Navy's best in the league since placing third during the 1998-99 season.

Unlike last year, when Navy's starting backcourt returned, this year the Mids return their starting frontcourt of Kate Hobbs, Carly Meyer and Betsy Burnett from the 2005-06 season.

Meyer averaged 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds a game last year, Burnett posted averages of 9.6 points and 5.4 rebounds a game, and Hobbs tallied 8.8 points and 5.2 caroms a contest last year.

Navy as a team returns 66.0-percent of its points and 76.1-percent of its rebounds from a year ago.
