ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy's varsity boat improved to 4-1 on the season with a nine-second victory over Georgetown, Saturday morning on the Severn River as part of a dual meet between the two lightweight crew teams. The victory in the varsity race was part of a Navy sweep on the day.
"I think this was our best racing of the season, up-and-down the lineup," said Navy head coach Rob Friedrich. "It was a good next step in our progress this season. We now will prepare for a big challenge from Harvard next Saturday."
