ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Navy men's basketball players Greg Sprink and Kaleo Kina both contributed heavily, leading the East Coast All-Stars to a 5-1 record during its 10-day trip to Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Sprink, a junior, and Kina, a sophomore, were part of a 12-member team that included players from the Big 10, Big 12, Big East, Atlantic 10 and America East Conferences.

The team opened the trip with a pair of double-digit wins over the Horsham BBC, 81-68 and 81-63, before scoring two lopsided wins over Falcon BBC and EOS Basket. The squad then lost its first game of the six-game trip to 08 Stockholm, 99-97, but rallied to win its final game, 95-79, over Solna Viking. The six teams are all professional teams in Europe.

Sprink, a Cardiff, Calif., native, averaged 10.8 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 3.8 apg and two steals per outing. He scored in double-digits four times, including a 16-point, six-rebound, four-assist effort in the win over EOS Basket. He contributed 15 points, four assists and three rebounds against Falcon BBC and chipped in with 13 points in the opening victory over Horsham BBC and the finale against Solna Viking. He distributed at least four assists in five different games.

Kina, who hails from El Mirage, Ariz., averaged 5.2 ppg, 1.3 rpg and a team-leading 7.0 apg for the East Coast All-Stars. He dished out at least 10 assists three different times, coming in wins over Falcon BBC, EOS Basket and Solna Viking. In the victory over Falcon BBC, Kina scored nine points with 10 assists and three steals. He chipped in nine points with four assists against 08 Stockholm and added seven points, 10 assists and two steals in the finale against Solna Viking. His other double-digit assist game came against EOS Basket with 10 helpers.

The Mids will open their season on Nov. 10, against Loyola (Md.) in the 2K Sports Coaches vs. Cancer Classic in Jamaica, N.Y., on the campus of St. John's University.
