ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Robert Morris downed Navy 93-77 Wednesday night behind A.J. Jackson's 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Jeremy Chappell added 20 points and nine rebounds for Robert Morris (2-0), which used a 12-0 run early in the second half to pull away from Navy (1-2).
Greg Sprink led Navy with 19 points. Derek Young added 15 points and Scott Brooks 12 points for the Mids.
After making three 3-pointers in the first seven minutes, Navy didn't make another until eight minutes remained and finished 7 for 27 from behind the arc.
The game was a preliminary game to the Philly Hoop Group Classic, which continues through the Thanksgiving weekend, when the tournament moves to the Palestra in Philadelphia.
Navy closed the half on an 8-2 run to cut Robert Morris' halftime lead to 42-37. The Mids scored first in the second half to get to within three.
Navy trailed 55-49 and missed an open three-pointer, Langhurst scoring at the other end for the Colonials to spark the 12-0 run that put the game away.
