Looking Back
Navy opened a s+tretch of four consecutive games on the road with a pair of losses to UMBC (85-77) and Penn (61-58).

Towson Preview
After opening the season with five wins in as many games, Towson dropped its first game of the season in its last outing to UMBC. The Retrievers edged the Tigers by the score of 69-68. Included among its five wins was a 62-51 victory at Patriot League member school Bucknell.

The Tigers have been involved in a number of close games this year, as evident by the fact that Towson holds a scoring advantage over its foes of 7.7 points per game. Towson also is outrebounding its opponents by just one rebound per game, and has forced foes into 25 more turnovers than it has committed.

Individually, the trio of Shanae Baker-Brice (17.0 ppg), Omara Parker (12.0 ppg) and Katrina Wheeler (11.2 ppg) has accounted for 60 percent of Towson's scoring this season.

Navy vs. Towson
Tuesday's game will be the first meeting between the Mids and the Tigers in six seasons. Navy recorded a 70-57 victory over Towson the last time the teams met, Nov. 26, 2002, in Annapolis.

Towson holds a 10-7 advantage in the all-time series with Navy, including a 5-3 lead in games played at Towson.

Navy enters the game having posted a 31-30 record against teams that currently form the Colonial Athletic Association, but this will be the first game for the Mids against a team from the CAA since Navy faced Delaware four years ago.
