ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's and women's basketball teams have announced a number of special promotions available for fans over the holiday break.

The Navy women's basketball team will host rival Air Force on Tuesday, December 22nd at 7:00 pm in Alumni Hall. The team will be holding a canned food drive and all fans who donate a canned good at the door will receive $3 admission to this rivalry game.

The Navy men's team will take on Coppin State on Wednesday, December 30th at 7:00 pm. It is "Take a Kid to the Game" night and fans can receive a FREE general admission youth ticket with the purchase of a fully-priced general admission adult ticket. This game will also feature a halftime performance by the award-winning Teelin Irish Dance Company.

The men's team then opens the new year when it hosts Elon on Saturday, January 2nd at 7:00 pm. It is "Meet the Mids" Night and all fans are invited to an autograph session with the entire team following the game. As part of "Meet the Mids" night, the first 100 kids into the game will receive a free Navy basketball t-shirt courtesy of Chick-fil-A and Naval Bagels. It is also "Bring your `A' Game" Night, where kids 18 and under who bring their report card or graded assignment with an "A" grade on it can also receive a free ticket to the game.
