CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Navy's Angela Myers (Sr., San Antonio, Texas) was announced Monday as this week's Patriot League Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Myers averaged 16.0 points, 4.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals a game last week for the Mids during the Navy Classic. She scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a loss to Villanova before tallying 19 points, four assists and four steals in a victory over Harvard. Her efforts also placed her onto the all-tournament team.

Myers, who leads Navy in points (16.8 ppg), assists (4.75 apg) and steals (3.50 spg) through two weeks of the young season, was previously selected as the league's player of the week twice during the 2009-10 campaign.

Navy will travel to Orono, Maine, this week to take part in the Dead River Company Classic against tournament-host Maine (Friday) and either Florida or South Alabama (Saturday).
