The Navy offshore sailing team had five boats competing in the 2010 Hospice Cup out of Annapolis this past Saturday.

The top performer was senior Ralph Grossmann and crew who finished fourth of eight boats in Class A2. Senior Emily Frost and crew finshed sixth of eight while classmate Peter Gibbons-Neff and crew were seventh of eight.

In the J105 class, freshman Andrew Beeler skippered Allegiance to fifth place out of seven boats while Patrick Duffett skippered Dreadnought to a sixth-place finish out of seven boats.

Next up for the team is the first weekend of the Annapolis Yacht Club Fall series this coming Saturday.
