CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Navy rising sophomore Audrey Bauer (Lake Zurich, Ill.) was recently recognized for her academic performance by being named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for the sport of women's basketball.
Bauer, one of two returning Mids to have appeared in all 32 games of Navy's 2010-11 run to the Patriot League title and NCAA Tournament, averaged 5.9 points and 4.0 rebounds a game this year. This included marks of 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds a game during the Patriot League season. She was previously selected as the Patriot League Rookie (Freshman) of the Week on Jan. 31 after she averaged 11.0 points and 7.5 rebounds a game against American and Colgate.
Women's basketball players in the league earned placement onto the honor roll by posting at least a 3.20 grade-point average during the 2011 spring semester. Bauer, who will major in political science starting this fall, recorded a 3.22 GPA during the spring grading period.
