ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Saturday's Army-Navy Basketball Doubleheader at Alumni Hall (5,710) is sold out. The women's game tips off at 12-noon, while the men's game will start at approximately 2:30 PM. The general public will be allowed entry into Alumni Hall beginning at 10:30 AM. It marks the fifth straight year the doubleheader has sold out and is the ninth sellout in Alumni Hall history.
The CBS Sports Network will televise both games nationally with Bob Socci and Leah Secondo calling the women's game at noon, while Bob Socci, Vince Curran and former Indiana Pacers great Reggie Miller handling the call for the men's game, beginning at 2:30 pm. Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary will call the men's game on the Navy Radio Network (1430 AM WNAV and SIRIUS Satellite Radio), while Medhurst will handle the women's radio broadcast, also on WNAV (1430 AM).
Both games will be streamed online as part of the Navy and Patriot League All-Access packages on NavySports.com(.)
Navy is 10-3 in head-to-head competition against Army this year, winning in sprint football (twice), men's soccer, golf, men's cross country, women's cross country, women's soccer, men's swimming and diving, women's swimming and diving and football. Navy has won the overall competition against Army in 16 of the last 17 years.
In addition, the CBS Sports Network will show an encore presentation of "A Game of Honor", beginning at 9:00 AM, leading up to the basketball doubleheader.
