Tuesday's Game Basics
The Navy men's basketball team (3-3) will look to win a third straight home game when the team hosts the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (2-2) on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Alumni Hall. Navy has won three of its last four games and is playing the second of a season-long three-game homestand.
Tuesday's game will be shown for free on the Patriot League Digital Network and can be heard on WNAV 1430 AM/99.9 FM in the Annapolis area. Pete Medhurst will handle play-by-play duties and Michael Heary will serve as the analyst for both the video and radio feeds.
Promotions
• Post-Game Youth Skills Clinic - All kids in attendance between the ages of 4-14 are invited to participate in a free skills clinic given by players and coaching staff members following the Navy Game. To register, email grosse@usna.edu.
• Bring Your `A' Game - All kids ages 18 and under get in free when they show an `A' on their report card or graded assignment at the Alumni Hall Ticket Window.
Parking Information
Fans without Department of Defense credentials must park outside of the U.S. Naval Academy grounds. Fans may park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for $5. Buses will run every 15 minutes starting one hour before each game and will continue running throughout the game and one hour after.
Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy has won three of its last four games and is 2-0 at home this season.
• Navy is coming off a 73-58 win over UMBC last Saturday night.
• Navy got off to a 10-2 start and led by 22 at halftime (43-21) en route to the 15-point win.
• Junior forward Worth Smith had 15 points, nine rebounds, two blocks, a steal and an assist in the win over UMBC.
• Tilman Dunbar and Michael Brown each scored 12 points in the contest.
• Sophomore guard Brandon Venturini leads Navy with 10.0 points per game.
• Smith is second with 9.3 points per game and is second with 5.2 rebounds.
• Sophomore forward Will Kelly leads the team with 5.7 rebounds per game and is fourth with 8.3 points per game.
• Navy ranks No. 1 in the Patriot League in scoring defense (59.0), field goal pct. Defense (.392), rebounds per game (38.7) and rebounding margin (+5.3).
• The improvement on the glass has been important for Navy, as the team ranked last in the Patriot League in rebounds (29.7) and rebounding margin (-6.1) last season.
• Navy saw three freshmen step up in the win over UMBC. Guard Michael Brown had 12 points and seven rebounds, forward James Hemphill had nine points and four rebounds and guard Zach Fong hit two big three-pointers.
• Navy has used the same starting lineup in each of the first six games with Tilman Dunbar, Brandon Venturini, Kendall Knorr, Worth Smith and Will Kelly.
• Navy has made at least one three-pointer in 311 consecutive games.
• Navy has an all-time record of 1,309-967 (.575).
Maryland Eastern Shore Storylines
• The University of Maryland Eastern Shore enters Tuesday's game at 2-2.
• Maryland Eastern Shore is coming off a 78-71 win over Mount St. Mary's on Thursday.
• Freshman guard Hakeem Baxter scored 22 points, forward Troy Snyder had 13 and Louis Bell had 12.
• UMES scored 51 points in the second half on 16-of-27 shooting (59.3 percent).
• UMES' other win was against Division III Salisbury, 95-55, on Nov. 12.
• The Hawks have lost to Iowa (109-63) and Columbia (73-54).
• KyRee Jones leads UMES with 19.0 points per game this season. Baxter is second with 15.0 points per game.
• The Hawks were 2-26 last season and 2-14 in the MEAC.
Series History vs. UMES
• Tuesday's game will be the 10th all-time meeting between the two schools.
• Navy leads the all-time series, 5-4.
• Navy is 3-2 against UMES in Annapolis and the series is 2-2 in Alumni Hall.

Looking Ahead
Navy will play its third straight home game on Wednesday, December 4 against The Citadel. The Citadel is currently 2-4 and will play Montreat (Nov. 25), Towson (Nov. 29) and West Alabama (Nov. 30) before coming to Annapolis. Navy leads the all-time series, 5-4.
