College Soccer News National Team of the Week

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy men's soccer senior Joseph Greenspan has been named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, for the week ending October 12. Additionally, junior Jamie Dubyoski has been named the Corvais Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week and junior Jackson Morgan has been named the Corvais Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week.

The trio of players led Navy (7-4-2, 3-1 PL) to a pair of conference wins last week. Navy defeated then-No. 20 American, 2-0, on Wednesday and then earned a 2-0 win at Colgate on Saturday.

Greenspan was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week for the third time in his career. Greenspan anchored a defensive backline while playing the full 90 minutes against both American and Colgate. Navy has posted three straight shutouts over conference opponents.

Morgan made five saves in the win over American and added four saves against Colgate. Morgan lowered his goals-against average to 0.73 and he now has four solo shutouts this season. Morgan earns his first Patriot League weekly honor.

Dubyoski scored the game-winning goal in Navy's 2-0 win at Colgate. Dubyoski scored in the 49th minute to put Navy ahead, 1-0. Dubyoski also had an assist in Navy's 2-0 win over then-No. 20 American on Wednesday. Dubyoski leads Navy with 14 points on five goals and four assists. He earns his third career conference weekly honor.

Navy will host Bucknell on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
