ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Limited tickets remain for the Quicken Loans Veterans Classic on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Alumni Hall. No. 15/16 VCU will face Tennessee in the opening game at 6:30 PM and No. 18/18 Michigan State will play Navy in the nightcap at 9:00 PM.

Fans can purchase tickets on navysports.com, by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY or by visiting the Navy ticket office. All tickets for the Quicken Loans Veterans Classic are $75. One ticket will cover both games.

The Quicken Loans Veterans Classic men's basketball event is in its first of four years at the Naval Academy.

All three visiting teams in this year's field participated in the 2014 NCAA Tournament. Michigan State advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight, Tennessee made it to the Sweet Sixteen and VCU played in the NCAA Second Round.

Head coach Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans won the NCAA National Championship in 2000 and he has coached in six NCAA Final Fours. Navy head coach Ed DeChellis coached against Izzo's Spartans 15 times while DeChellis was the head coach at Penn State. DeChellis' Nittany Lions twice defeated the Spartans when they were ranked in the Top 10.

VCU's head coach Shaka Smart is one of the top young coaches in the country and he has a 137-46 record in his five years at VCU. His 137 wins are the third most in NCAA history for a coach after his first five seasons. Smart led VCU to the NCAA Final Four in 2011.

Donnie Tyndall enters his first season at Tennessee after successful stints at Southern Mississippi and Morehead State. Tyndall has a career coaching record of 200-107 and he takes over a Volunteer team that won 24 games in 2013-14.

Navy returns all five starters from its 2013-14 squad. DeChellis enters his fourth season at Navy and will seek to improve Navy's win total for the third straight year.
