ANNAPOLIS, Md - The Navy men's basketball team (2-7) will host VMI (4-5) on Tuesday at 7:00 PM in Alumni Hall. Navy is looking to snap a three-game losing skid. Head coach Ed DeChellis will be coaching his 100th game at Navy on Tuesday.

The Navy-VMI game will be streamed for free on PatriotLeague.TV. The game will also be available on the radio on 1430 AM / 99.9 FM in Annapolis and on wnav.com and also in the Washington, D.C. area on WBQH 1050 AM. Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary will have the announcing duties on the live video and radio feeds.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth and $3 for groups of 20 or more.

Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy is coming off a 67-60 loss at The Citadel on Saturday.
• Navy was down one at 55-54 with 2:26 remaining, but the Bulldogs closed the game on a 12-6 run.
• Senior guard Brandon Venturini scored 18 points, all in the second half, to be Navy's leading scorer.
• Venturini scored Navy's first 12 points of the second half.
• Venturini moved into 33rd place on Navy's career scoring chart with 795 career points.
• Venturini leads the team with 11.3 points per game. He has made at least one 3-pointer in 17 straight games.
• Sophomore forward James Hemphill came off the bench at The Citadel to tally nine points and a career-high 11 rebounds. Six of Hemphill's rebounds were on the offensive glass.
• Sophomore Edward Alade is second on the team with 8.6 points per game.
• Alade is first on the team and third in the Patriot League in field goal percentage at .646.
• Navy head coach Ed DeChellis is coaching his 100th game at Navy on Tuesday. DeChellis is in his fourth season at the Naval Academy.
• Senior team captain Kevin Alter is a nominee for the Allstate NABC Good Works Team.

VMI Storylines
• VMI enters Tuesday's game at 4-5 on the season.
• The Keydets are coming off a 90-81 loss at Mercer. Mercer advanced to the NCAA Tournament Third Round in 2014.
• Sophomore Q.J. Peterson scored 32 points against Mercer and Tim Marshall added 20. The Keydets were 17-of-44 on 3-pointers against Mercer.
• Peterson leads VMI with 20.8 points per game. Marshall is averaging 11.9, Brian Brown is averaging 10.5 and Craig Hinton is at 10.1.
• Peterson averaged 19.0 points as a freshman in 2013-14.
• VMI is first in the NCAA in 3-pointers made per game (12.9) and 3-pointers attempted per game (36.3).
• VMI is second in the NCAA in scoring offense at 91.1 points per game.
• Look for VMI to challenge Navy's program records of most 3-pointers attempted by an individual (15) and by a team (35) on Tuesday.
• VMI was 22-11 last season and advanced to the postseason CIT semifinals.
• Head coach Duggar Baucom is in his 10th season at VMI and has an overall record of 144-145.

Series History vs. VMI
• Navy leads the all-time series against VMI, 21-1.
• Navy won the first 20 meetings in the series before falling in the most recent game, 78-73, on November 28, 2004 in Annapolis.
• The 2004 game is the only meeting in the last 18 years between the two schools.
• The series began on February 5, 1919, which was Navy's 12th season of basketball and VMI's 11th season.

Shuttle / Parking Information
Fans without Department of Defense clearance must park outside of the U.S. Naval Academy grounds. Fans may park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for $5. Buses will run every 15 minutes starting at 6:00 PM and will continue running throughout the game until 10:00 PM.
