ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Coming off a convincing 70-47 win over Loyola in its Patriot League opener, the Navy men's basketball team (5-8, 1-0) will continue conference play at Lafayette (9-3, 1-0) on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Kirby Sports Center in Easton, Pennsylvania.

The game will be televised on the Lafayette Sports Network in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region on RCN-4 / 1004 HD, RCN-8 / 608 HD and WBPH 60. Live streaming video of the game will also be available for free on PatriotLeague.TV and navysports.com. The game will be broadcast on the radio in Annapolis on WNAV 1430 AM / 99.9 FM and on wnav.com with Pete Medhurst on the call. Live statistics will also be available.

Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy (5-8, 1-0) dominated Loyola in a 70-47 win in its Patriot League opener on Wednesday.
• Worth Smith led Navy with a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while point guard Tilman Dunbar added 13 points and six assists with zero turnovers.
• Navy shot 49 percent from the floor and 50 percent on 3-pointers (6-of-12).
• The Mids won their first Patriot League opener since the 2009-10 season.
• Navy has won back-to-back games, as the Mids also defeated Towson, 61-56, on Dec. 22.
• Smith returned from a 10-game absence due to an injury to score 41 points with 19 rebounds in Navy's last two games.
• Smith was named the Patriot League Player of the Week for his performance against Towson.
• Smith scored 20 points in back-to-back games for the first time in his career and he is the first Mid to accomplish the feat since J.J. Avila in 2011-12.
• Smith is averaging 16.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in three games this season. He is 4-of-5 from 3-pointers this year.
• Brandon Venturini is second on the team with 11.5 points and he leads the team with 3.2 assists per game.
• Venturini has made at least one 3-pointer in 21 straight games.
• Navy's 23-point margin of victory over Loyola was its largest against a conference opponent since defeating Lafayette, 90-67, in the 2008-09 season.

Lafayette Storylines
• Lafayette (9-3, 1-0) opened its conference slate with a 92-78 win at Army on Wednesday.
• Four players scored in double figures for the Leopards with senior forward Seth Hinrichs scoring a game-high 21 points.
• Lafayette shot 54 percent from the floor and 59 percent on 3-pointers (10-of-17) against Army.
• Lafayette is ranked first in the NCAA in 3-point field goal percentage (.432). The Leopards are also 11th in free throw percentage (.757), 11th in field goal percentage (.502) and 23rd in scoring offense (79.0).
• Senior forward Dan Trist leads the Leopards with 16.6 points and 6.2 rebounds. Hinrichs is averaging 13.9 points and 5.2 rebounds.
• Senior guard Joey Ptasinski is averaging 12.3 points and is shooting a conference-best .557 on 3-pointers (39-of-70). He is ranked third in the NCAA in 3-point field goal percentage.
• Lafayette head coach Fran O'Hanlon is in his 20th season at the school.

Series History vs. Lafayette
• Navy leads the all-time series, 42-31.
• The two teams split the 2014 series. Navy won in Annapolis, 79-71, and Lafayette won in Easton, 74-52.
• Brandon Venturini scored 28 points and knocked down eight 3-pointers in the win in Annapolis.
• As a team, Navy shot 11-of-14 (79 percent) on 3-pointer in the 79-71 win in Alumni Hall. The 3-point percentage was the second-highest single-game total in school history and Venturini's eight 3-pointers were the third-highest single-game total in school history.
