Last Game
Hannah Fenske rolled in a layup as time expired to give the Navy women's basketball team a 65-63 victory at Colgate Saturday afternoon.
The Mids let a 15-point lead (61-46) with five minutes remaining slip away from them as Colgate's Missy Repoli drained a three-point shot with 6.9 seconds remaining to tie the game at 63-63.
After a Navy timeout and facing a Colgate press, Chloe Stapleton inbounded the ball to Muenster who turned and passed it to Justice Swett at the Colgate free throw line. She dribbled the ball down the middle of the court until she reached the Navy free throw line. When pressure arrived, she flipped it to Fenske who was on the right baseline out near the three-point arc. Fenske weaved her way through a pair of defenders before banking an attempt off the backboard that fell through the net as the final horn sounded.
