ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy will host American on Wednesday evening at Alumni Hall at 7:00 PM in the Patriot League Network Game of the Week. Campus Insiders will bring its production and broadcast crew to Alumni Hall for an exclusive broadcast that will streamed on CampusInsiders.com, PatriotLeague.TV and navysports.com. The Campus Insiders broadcast team will be Matt Martucci and former Georgetown head coach Craig Esherick.

Navy enters the contest at 7-13 overall and 3-5 in Patriot League play. American is 11-9 overall and 4-4 in league play.

Wednesday's game will be carried on the radio in the Annapolis area on WNAV 1430 AM / 99.9 FM and on wnav.com with Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary on the call. Live statistics will be available.

Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy (7-13, 3-5 PL) has lost four straight games since opening Patriot League play at 3-1.
• Navy is currently in a four-way tie for seventh place in the Patriot League standings but is one game out of third place.
• American will be Navy's ninth Patriot League opponent of the season and will complete the first rotation of the conference slate.
• Navy most recently fell at Holy Cross on Saturday, 76-65.
• Senior Brandon Venturini scored 16 points at Holy Cross.
• Senior Worth Smith returned from an injury to score eight points, including his 1,000th-career point.
• Smith became the 21st player in school history to surpass the 1,000-point mark. He currently has 1,001 career points.
• Smith and David Robinson are the only players in school history to reach career totals of 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 80 steals and 80 blocks.
• Smith is leading Navy in scoring (14.9) and rebounding (6.0) this season.
• Venturini is second on the team in scoring at 12.5 points per game.
• Venturini will seek to join Smith in the 1,000-point club. He currently has 942 career points.
• Venturini ranks fifth in school history with 194 career 3-pointers made. He has also made at least one 3-pointer in 28 straight games, which is the third-longest streak in school history and is one game away from tying Jordan Sugars (29) for second place.
• Junior guard Tilman Dunbar is third on the team in scoring (8.9) and first in assists (3.2).
• Sophomore center Edward Alade is fourth on the team in scoring at 6.9 points per game and he is shooting 60.6 percent from the floor.
• Navy had led by 11 points in the first half at Holy Cross. It marked the third time this season that Navy lost a game that it had led by double digits in (Holy Cross, Maryland Eastern Shore, Colgate).
• Navy has been outscored in the second half by an average of 37.0 to 26.5 in its last four losses.
• Navy has shot 39 percent from the floor and 14 percent on 3-pointers in the second half of its last four games, while shooting 49 percent from the floor and 45 percent on 3-pointers in the first half during those same games.
• Navy is ranked third in the conference in scoring defense at 66.1 points per game and is fourth in conference only games at 64.1.
• Navy gives up the fewest rebounds per game in the league at 30.9.
• Navy will play six of its next eight games at home, after playing four of its last five on the road.

American Storylines
• American (11-9, 4-4 PL) most recently fell to Army, 68-66, on Monday evening. Army's Dylan Cox scored the game-winning shot with three seconds remaining.
• John Schoof scored 17 points for American, Charlie Jones had 12, Mark Vasic scored 11 and Jesse Reed added 10.
• Pee Wee Gardner had nine points and seven assists.
• Schoof, Jones and Reed all played 40 minutes against Army, while Gardner played 36.
• Reed (39.4), Gardner (39.1) and Schoof (38.8) rank 1-2-3 in the NCAA in minutes played per game.
• Reed leads American in scoring at 14.6 points per game and is averaging a team-best 17.1 points per game in conference games.
• Schoof is averaging 11.2 points per game on the season and Gardner is third at 10.8.

Looking Ahead

Shuttle / Parking Information
Fans without Department of Defense clearance must park outside of the U.S. Naval Academy grounds. Fans may park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for $5. Buses will run every 15 minutes starting at 6:00 PM and will continue running throughout the game and until 10:00 PM.
