ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's basketball team (8-13, 4-5 PL) will host Lafayette (12-8, 4-5 PL) on Saturday at 7:00 PM in Alumni Hall. The Mids will open the second half of the Patriot League schedule by looking to sweep the season series against the Leopards. Navy and Lafayette are in a six-way tie for fourth place in the league standings.

Free live video of the game will be available on the Patriot League Network at PatriotLeague.TV and navysports.com. The game will be on the radio on WNAV 1430 AM / 99.9 FM and on wnav.com. The broadcast crew for the live video stream and the radio will be Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary. Live statistics will also be available.

Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy enters the game at 8-13 overall and 4-5 in the Patriot League. The Mids are in a six-way tie for fourth place in the league standings.
• Navy is coming off a 64-54 win over defending Patriot League Champion American on Wednesday.
• Worth Smith scored 19 points, all in the second half, and Brandon Venturini added 17.
• Navy shot a season-high 65 percent from the field against American, including a 77 percent clip in the first half. Navy also shot 67 percent on 3-pointers.
• Navy shot its best percentage for the game and for a half since the 2009 season.
• A win over Lafayette would give Navy its fifth conference win of the season, which would be the most since 2011. A win would also match Navy's overall win total (9) from 2014.
• Smith is leading Navy with 15.3 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game.
• Venturini is second on the team with 12.7 points per game and is averaging 13.9 in conference games.
• Smith surpassed the 1,000-point mark against Holy Cross and Venturini enters the Lafayette game just 41 points shy of the 1,000-point milestone.
• Junior point guard Tilman Dunbar is averaging 8.8 points per game and 3.2 assists, while sophomore center Edward Alade is averaging 6.6 points and is shooting 60 percent from the floor.
• In conference play, Venturini leads the league in 3-pointers made per game (3.0) and steals per game (2.1).
• As a team, Navy is first in the league in rebounds allowed per game (28.3), second in rebounding margin (+1.4) and second in steals per game (6.4).
• Venturini has made a 3-pointer in 29-straight games, which is tied for the second-longest streak in school history. He has made at least three 3-pointers in each of the last four games.
• Head coach Ed DeChellis is in his fourth season at Navy.

Lafayette Storylines
• Lafayette enters Saturday's game at 12-8 overall and in a six-way tie for fourth place in the league standings at 4-5.
• The Leopards are coming off a 59-54 win at Colgate on Wednesday, which snapped a three-game losing skid.
• Senior forward Dan Trist scored a game-high 24 points on 12-of-20 shooting against Colgate, while junior guard Bryce Scott had nine points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals.
• Trist leads Lafayette in scoring (17.5) and rebounding (6.5). Senior guard Seth Hinrichs is second in scoring at 13.9 points per game and senior guard Joey Ptasinski is third at 10.5.
• Trist is averaging a league-best 18.7 points per game in conference play.
• Hinrichs (1,380), Trist (1,271) and Ptasinski (1,012) have all surpassed the 1,000-point mark. Lafayette and Wofford are the only Division I teams that have three active 1,000-point scorers.
• In conference games, Lafayette leads the Patriot League in free throw percentage (.781) and assist to turnover ratio (1.6), while ranking second in scoring offense (70.8).
• Lafayette is coached by Fran O'Hanlon. He has a record of 281-303 and is in his 20th season at Lafayette.

Series History vs. Lafayette
• Navy defeated Lafayette, 69-65, in Easton on January 3 and will look to sweep the season series for the first time since 2007.
• Worth Smith had 17 points and seven rebounds and Brandon Venturini added 16 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Tilman Dunbar had 13 points, three rebounds and two assists.
• Seth Hinrichs scored 23 points for the Leopards.
• Navy leads the all-time series, 43-31, and is 32-12 in games played in Annapolis.

• Navy will next play at Boston U. on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Agganis Arena.

Shuttle / Parking Information
Fans without Department of Defense clearance must park outside of the U.S. Naval Academy grounds. Fans may park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for $5. Buses will run every 15 minutes starting at 6:00 PM and will continue running throughout the game and until 10:00 PM.

Army-Navy Tickets
