ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's soccer team (6-5-1, 3-1-0 Patriot League) will play its final non-conference match of the regular season at UMBC (7-3-3, 1-1-2 America East) on Tuesday at the Retriever Soccer Park at 7 PM. Free live video and live statistics will be available.

The Mids are coming off a 1-0 loss at Bucknell on Saturday. The Mids gave up an own goal in the 16th minute and played a man-up in the final 25 minutes. The Mids outshot Bucknell by a 20-shot margin but could not score the equalizer.

Navy had won its first three conference games before falling at Bucknell on Saturday.

Senior Derek Vogel leads Navy in scoring with 10 goals on three goals and four assists and 10 different Mids have scored a goal this season. Goalkeeper Jackson Morgan is 6-5-1 with a .774 save percentage and a 0.96 goals-against average. Morgan has five shutouts this season.

Navy and UMBC will be facing off for the sixth straight season on Tuesday. The Mids beat UMBC, 2-0, last season in Annapolis before the Retrievers made a run to the 2014 NCAA College Cup semifinals. Jamie Dubyoski scored both of Navy's goals against UMBC last season and Morgan earned the shutout.

The Retrievers received an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament for winning the America East Tournament and advanced past Wake Forest, Maryland, Louisville and Creighton before falling to eventual College Cup Champion Virginia in the national semifinals.

UMBC tied New Hampshire 1-1 on Saturday and previously lost to Vermont, 3-0. The loss to Vermont snapped UMBC's 27-game unbeaten streak in America East games.

Virginia transfer Darius Madison leads the team with 15 points on six goals and three assists. Kennedy O'Shea has 11 points on four goals and three assists. Goalkeeper Billy Heaver has a .774 save percentage and a 0.94 goals-against average.

Navy leads the all-time series against UMBC, 17-5-4.

The Mids will return to Patriot League play by hosting Colgate on Saturday at 6 PM. The Mids are currently tied with Colgate for second place with nine points, trailing first-place Boston U. (13 points).
