Thoughts from Stefanie PemperI'm glad to have a senior on the team this year and I'm excited for Peri to have that challenge because it is a big one and she can handle it. Peri loves to play basketball and she knows the game well. She is a great athlete with a versatile skill set and when she finds her groove it's fun to watch. Peri is proud of being part of our last Patriot League championship in 2013. Teams can have a special year when their best players and their seniors are their best leaders. Peri has the maturity to help lead us to the championship again.Christina has missed most of our team practices with injury and it will take time and effort on her part to make-up all the X's and O's. At the Div-I level the game is athletic but it's equally mental and strategic and you can't skip that step. When healthy, Christina is a solid defender, a versatile scorer and a tough rebounder. Really hoping she can get healthy cuz she can be quite a competitor.
