Thoughts from Stefanie PemperSarita is off to a great year both as a player and as our captain. I really respect the importance she has placed on being a good leader for our team since June when she attended the Gettysburg training with captains and company commanders. Sarita is a driven young woman who sets the bar high and we've already seen neat efforts regarding inclusion and morale. She finished last year really strong and is playing great again. She's worked hard on her shooting, she's a pesky defender and she's making good decisions with the ball in her hands right now.Molly had exceptional coaching at the high school and AAU level and must've been a sponge picking up concepts because her fundamentals and her awareness are fantastic for a freshman. She also is the rare player that will say the right thing to help our team's focus, or say something to help morale. She's a crafty scorer and her biggest gift to the game is her 3-pt shooting.
