| Thoughts from Stefanie Pemper | The effort and focus Justice brings to playing defense is unique and she had a significant impact on our success a year ago. We averaged the most steals per game since I've been here and it was directly related to players allowing her competitiveness to inspire them to defend tough. That will be key for us again. Justice worked hard in the off-season on her shooting. When you factor in her rebounding and ball-handling, Justice is our best version of a 5-tool player in baseball. | Peyton is a really intelligent, honest young woman who works hard. Our preseason conditioning program was very challenging physically and Peyton's poise was impressive. It's common for a freshmen's first role on the team to be defense and rebounding and that might be Peyton. She also has a nice perimeter jumper and she can finish both ways inside. Excited to work with her. |
