About Elon
The Phoenix enter the game with a 3-1 record on the season. Most recently, the squad posted a 62-54 win at American Sunday afternoon.

Elon finished the 2014-15 season with 19-13 record and tied for third place in the Colonial Athletic association with an 11-7 record. The Phoenix were predicted to place fourth in the CAA this season.

The Series
Tuesday's game will be the third meeting between the Mids and the Phoenix, and the first to be played outside of Elon, N.C. The teams met last season with the host Phoenix coming away with a 69-56 win over the Mids. Navy won the inaugural game in the series, a 68-61 decision in Nov. 2009.

A Look Back
Navy put together a 17-point third quarter to provide enough of a cushion for the Mids to post a 52-48 victory over North Carolina A&T Sunday afternoon at Alumni Hall.

The Mids went into halftime clinging to a 23-22 lead, but outscored the Aggies 17-12 in the third stanza to take a 40-34 lead at the end of the quarter. Navy then extended its margin out to as many as nine points on three occasions in the final quarter before a late run by the visitors.

Both teams made 19 field goals and four three-point field goals in the game, but Navy was 10-14 from the foul line while N.C. A&T was 6-8 from the charity stripe.

Ashanti Kennedy scored six of her career-high 16 points in the final period of play. Peri Curtis added eight rebounds and three steals, and Marina Muenster tallied six points, five caroms and three blocks.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth online in advance of the game at NavySports.com. The Alumni Hall Ticket Office will open one hour prior to the start of the game.
