ANNAPOLIS, Md. â€"â€" Women's basketball player Sarita Condie (Jr., Lovelock, Nev.) has been selected as this week's Naval Academy Athletic Association Athlete of the Week, presented by Rolls Royce.

Condie averaged 16.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.7 steals a game in Navy's trio of overtime games last week.

Her week began with a 17-point, 8-rebound, 6-steal, 5-assist performance that helped Navy record a 73-70 double overtime victory over Elon on Tuesday. Condie sent the game into the first overtime stanza with a game-tying three-point shot with 33.5 seconds remaining in regulation. She then drained another triple with 9.5 seconds left in the first extra session to tie the game and force a second overtime period.

Condie paced the Mids with 15 points and five assists, while adding another five rebounds, in Navy's 59-58 overtime victory over Siena on Friday night. The win over the Saints advanced the Mids into Saturday's title game of the Navy Classic against Colorado State, which won the 2015 Mountain West Conference regular season title and is the favorite to win the league again this year. Condie scored a season-best 18 points in the game â€"â€" including a pair of free throws with 1.1 seconds left on the clock in regulation to tie the score and force the first of an eventual two overtime periods â€"â€" and added five caroms and three helpers in the 82-73 loss by the Mids.

She was named to the all-tournament team at the Navy Classic for her efforts against the Saints and the Rams.

Navy will conclude a five-game homestand Wednesday night (7 p.m.) by playing host to LIU Brooklyn in Alumni Hall.
