ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's basketball team (8-4) will host Furman (6-5) on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Alumni Hall in its final non-conference game of the 2015-16 season.

Tuesday's game will have free live video on the Patriot League Network and the game can be heard on the radio in Annapolis on 1430 AM / 99.9 FM WNAV. Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary will have the call on both the live video and radio. Live statistics will also be available.

Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy (8-4) has been off for final exams since falling to USC Upstate, 66-57, on Monday, Dec. 14.
• Sophomore forward Jace Hogan posted his second double-double of the season against USC Upstate with 14 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.
• Hogan leads Navy in scoring (12.5 ppg) and rebounding (6.5 ppg).
• Hogan ranks 15th in the Patriot League in scoring and is seventh in rebounding.
• Hogan has come off the bench to score in double-figures in six straight games.
• Sophomore guard Shawn Anderson ranks second on Navy in scoring at 12.0 points per game and he is second on the team in assists (2.4) and third in rebounding (4.2).
• Senior center Will Kelly is averaging 8.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and a Patriot League-best 2.4 blocks per game.
• Senior point guard Tilman Dunbar is averaging 8.0 points and a team-high 3.4 assists.
• Navy has played much better on the road than at home this season. Navy is 5-0 in road games, 2-1 in neutral-site games but just 1-3 in home games.
• Navy ranks first in the Patriot League and 17th in the NCAA in scoring defense, allowing 60.4 points per game.
• Navy also ranks first in the Patriot League in field goal percentage defense (.412), rebounding defense (30.3), rebounding margin (+6.0) and offensive rebounds per game (12.1).
• At 8-4 Navy is off to its best start to a season since also opening the season at 8-4 in the 2008-09 season.
• Navy is 35-15 all-time against teams that currently play in the Southern Conference and is 2-0 this season with wins over UNCG and VMI.

Furman Storylines
• Furman enters Tuesday's game at 6-5 and is coming off a 70-50 loss at Dayton on Saturday.
• After a three-game winning streak over Mount St. Mary's, Piedmont International and Liberty, the Paladins have dropped two of their last three games.
Senior guard Stephen Croone, a first-team all-league selection last season, leads the team in scoring at 13.4 points per game.
• Freshman forward Matt Rafferty is second on the team in scoring at 10.3 points per game.
• Rafferty played high school basketball with Navy freshman George Kiernan at Hinsdale Central in Illinois.
• Sophomore forward Geoff Beans scored a team-high 12 points against Dayton and Croone added 11.
• Furman was 11-22 overall last season and 5-13 in the SoCon.
• Furman was the #10 seed in the SoCon Tournament, but won three tournament games before falling to Wofford by three points in the championship game.

Series History vs. Furman
• Navy and Furman are meeting for just the second time in series history.
• Furman defeated Navy, 89-66, in the first meeting on Dec. 28, 1976 in Greenville, S.C.
• The game was a part of the Poinsettia Classic, a Furman-hosted holiday tournament.
• Head coach Ed DeChellis is 3-5 all-time against Furman.

Looking Ahead
• Navy will open its 25th season of Patriot League basketball on Dec. 30 at Bucknell.
• Bucknell was the 2015 Patriot League Regular Season Champion and was picked second in the league's preseason poll.
• Navy is 150-182 (.452) all-time in the Patriot League.
• Navy has won five Patriot League Regular Season Championships with its last coming in 2000.
• Navy has won three Patriot League Tournament Championships with its last coming in 1998.

Parking / Shuttle Information
All fans are encouraged to park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and take the fan shuttle to Alumni Hall. Fans can enter Gate 5 off Taylor Avenue and pay $5 for parking. The shuttle is free and the pick up and drop off spot is in front of the Blue Angel plane. All fans visiting the Yard over the age of 18 should have photo ID. Buses will run every 15 minutes starting at 6:00 PM and will continue running throughout the game and until one hour after the completion of the game. Parking at the stadium is the best option for fans attending the game.
