Last Game
Army shot 50 percent from the floor after halftime and turned Navy's nine second-half turnovers into 18 points to pull away from and defeat the Mids, 58-46, Saturday afternoon at Alumni Hall in Annapolis in the annual Star Game between the women's basketball programs.

Navy held early leads of 10-5 and 16-11 over Army, but the Mids scored just one point in the next nine minutes to fall behind, 23-17. The Mids chipped away at the deficit over the final three minutes of the stanza and went into the halftime break down just 25-24.

The lead changed hands a couple of times early in the second half. The Black Knights held a 36-35 advantage before going on a 12-3 run to jump in front, 48-38, with just eight minutes left to play. The teams traded a few baskets to make the score 51-43 with just six minutes showing on the clock, but the Mids could not answer an ensuing 7-0 Army run.

About Bucknell
Bucknell lost a 69-61 decision at Holy Cross Saturday to see its overall record drop to 14-9 and its Patriot League mark fall to 6-6. The Bison have posted an 8-2 record at home this year, which includes a 4-2 record against league foes.

The Series
Bucknell edged Navy, 44-42 in overtime, in the first meeting of the season between the teams. It was the second overtime game in the last three games of the series.

The victory gave the Bison a 29-27 advantage in the all-time series with the Mids, including a 26-21 lead in league regular season games.

Bucknell holds a 14-10 edge in games played between the teams in Lewisburg, including a 14-9 advantage in league regular season games.

A victory by Bucknell would give the Bison their 11th regular season series sweep of the Mids (last was in 2009), while a win by Navy would result in the teams splitting the series for the sixth time (last was in 2013).
