Last Game
Navy scored seven of the final 10 points of the game, but a last second shot by the Mids went wide as the buzzer sounded to give Bucknell a 51-50 victory Wednesday night.

The score was tied the game at 48-48 following a layup from Justice Swett with 2:26 left. Bucknell regained the lead on its next possession when Audrey Dotson made a three-point shot with just over two minutes remaining. Sarita Condie was fouled on Navy's next possession and her two free throws with 1:49 remaining winnowed the margin down to 51-50.

The Bison had a lengthy possession on its next trip down the court, but came away scoreless despite taking three shots. Condie snared the defensive carom after their third attempt (48 seconds left) and raced down the court. She dribbled to the baseline before heading toward the basket with a Bucknell player right with her. Condie crossed under the basket and was called for an offensive foul when the two players made contact with each other. That returned the ball to Bucknell with 38.1 seconds left.

Bucknell gave the ball on its next trip to Claire DeBoer, who tried an off balance shot from inside of the lane. That effort missed, with Marina Muenster grabbing the loose ball for the Mids and calling timeout with 6.8 seconds showing on the clock.

The inbounds pass went to Swett, who quickly gave it to Condie. She sprinted down the middle of the court and to the left wing before passing it inside to Muenster. Despite having several Bucknell players on her, Muenster was able to get a turnaround shot off just before the buzzer sounded that missed its mark.

About Colgate
The Raiders defeated Boston U., 67-54, Wednesday night in Hamilton to end a two-game skid and improve their records to 5-19 overall and 4-9 in Patriot League play. Four of those nine league losses have been in games decided by just two points, with the winning baskets in two of them coming with less than three seconds remaining.

Colgate has posted a 2-4 record in league road games and has a 2-11 mark overall this year in games played away from home.

The Series
Navy holds a 35-18 advantage in the overall series with Colgate, including a 21-5 edge in games played on The Yard. The Mids also lead the league regular season series with the Raiders by the count of 30-17. This includes an 18-5 advantage in league games played at Navy.

A Hannah Fenske layup as time expired gave Navy a 65-63 victory over Colgate in the first game of the year between the teams.

A victory by Navy Saturday would give the Mids their ninth regular season sweep of the Raiders (last was in 2014), while a Colgate win would result in the teams splitting the season series for the 14th time (last in 2012).

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth and $3 for groups of 20 or more, and are available online in advance of the game at NavySports.com. The Alumni Hall Ticket Office will open at 3 p.m.

Saturday's game will be Navy's annual Think Pink Game as part of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's efforts to bring awareness to breast cancer research. All fans wearing a pink item of clothing to the game will be admitted for $3.

USNA Vehicle Access
Vehicle access to the U.S. Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card. It is suggested that everyone else park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5. per vehicle) and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the game. Shuttle bus service will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Note that a government issued identification card must be carried and presented by visitors to the USNA prior to being allowed onto The Yard.
