Last Game
Navy held Lehigh to 25 percent shooting while connecting on 38 percent of its own shots in a 50-44 victory by the Mids over the Mountain Hawks Wednesday night at Stabler Arena.

The score was tied at 13-13 when the Mids went on a 7-0 run to take a 20-13 lead with 8:36 left in the first half. Lehigh cut the margin down to 21-17, but Navy closed the half on a 7-2 run to take a 28-19 lead at the break.

A three-point field goal at the start of the second half extended Navy's lead to 12 points, and it remained a double-digit spread until a 5-0 run by Lehigh made the score 41-33 with 3:52 left to play.

Taylor Dunham responded with a long jumper, but Lehigh soon closed to within 44-37 with 1:56 left. Dunham came up big on Navy's next possession as she drilled a three-point field goal to make it a 47-37 game with 94 seconds left.

It took only 20 seconds and a layup, steal and three-point field goal before Lehigh closed the game down to 47-42 with 1:14 remaining. Haley Unger was fouled before any time ran off the clock, and she made one free throw to make the score 48-42. The Mountain Hawks sent the ball inside on their next possession, only to see Marina Muenster tally her fourth block of the night and Sarita Condie scoop up the loose ball.

Navy ran the clock down to 48 seconds left before Lehigh fouled Dunham. She too made just one of two free throw attempts, but Lehigh missed its next shot which Dunham corralled for the Mids with 35 seconds remaining. Her free throw with 13 seconds left on the clock pushed the margin out to 50-42.

About Holy Cross
Holy Cross ended a two-game losing streak with a 59-53 victory over Lafayette Wednesday night at the Hart Center. The result gave the Crusaders an overall record of 12-16 and a Patriot League mark of 8-7. Additionally, Holy Cross has posted marks in its home venue of 4-6 overall and 2-5 against league foes.

The Series
Holy Cross holds an advantage of 40-16 over Navy in the all-time series between the two teams. This includes a record of 33-14 in league regular season games played between the squads. The Crusaders also lead the Mids in games played in Worcester by the counts of 20-7 overall and 16-7 in Patriot League games.

The Mids have compiled records against Holy Cross of 12-4 overall and 10-3 in league games with Stefanie Pemper on the sidelines. Pemper's teams have additionally posted a 6-0 record against Holy Cross at the Hart Center.

A victory by Holy Cross would give the Crusaders their 14th regular season sweep of the Mids (last was in 2008), while a Navy win would result in the teams splitting the season series for the seventh time (last in 2012).
