ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's basketball team (11-17, 7-9 PL) will begin the final week of the conference season at American (14-14, 7-9 PL) on Wednesday at 8:00 PM. Navy, American and Loyola are in a three-way tie for sixth place in the Patriot League standings with two league games remaining.

Wednesday's game will be streamed for free on PatriotLeague.TV and navysports.com. The game will be available on the radio on WNAV 1430 AM / 99.9 FM in Annapolis and on wnav.com. Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary will serve as the broadcast crew. Live statistics will also be available.

Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy enters the final week of the regular season as the number six seed in the Patriot League standings.
• Navy will play at American on Wednesday and at Loyola on Saturday.
• The Mids are coming off an 84-70 win on Senior Day over Holy Cross on Sunday.
• Senior Brandon Venturini returned from a five-game absence with an injury to score 17 points with six rebounds and six assists in the win.
• Five players scored in double figures for the first time this season.
• Freshman Shawn Anderson scored a season-high 13 points, Tilman Dunbar had 12, Will Kelly had 11 and Worth Smith scored 10.
• Venturini enters the American game with 988 career points. He is 12 points away from becoming the 22nd player in school history to score 1,000 career points.
• Navy's win snapped a nine-game losing streak to Holy Cross.
• Navy's 11 wins overall are the most since 2011 and the seven conference wins are the most since 2010.
• Smith leads Navy with 15.2 points per game and he is fifth in the league in conference games at 15.4.
• Smith has 1,125 career points, 575 rebounds, 106 blocks and 102 steals. Smith and David Robinson are the only two Navy players with over 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 100 blocks and 100 steals.
• Venturini moved into sole possession of third place on Navy's all-time lists for career 3-pointers made (203) and career 3-point attempts (587).
• Kelly is ranked first in the Patriot League in blocks per game in conference games (2.0) and in overall games (1.6).
• Kelly is averaging 3.2 blocks in Navy's last five games and ranks ninth in school history with 97 in his career.
• Navy has started 16 different players this season, a school record. The previous record was 15 in 2004.
• Navy head coach Ed DeChellis won his 250th career game on Feb. 22 against Holy Cross.

American Storylines
• American enters Wednesday's game at 14-14 overall and 7-9 in the Patriot League.
• American is tied with Loyola and Navy for sixth place in the Patriot League standings.
• The Eagles are coming off a 72-63 loss at Army on Sunday.
• Charlie Jones scored 16 points against Army, Jesse Reed added 13 and John Schoof had 12.
• American has lost two straight games and four of its last five.
• In conference play, American is first in the league in scoring defense (61.9) and last in the league in scoring offense (60.2).
