Sept. 3, 2015 ANNAPOLIS, Md. â€"â€" The roster for the 2015-16 Navy women's basketball team includes the addition of four freshmen to a squad that returns four starters and 10 letterwinners from last season's team that posted an overall record of 17-14 and tied for fourth place in the Patriot League standings with a 10-8 record.
"I'm excited to be working with these women," said Navy head coach Stefanie Pemper. "The transition to a Division I team competing for a Patriot League Championship is challenging, as is the first semester for a plebe at the Academy. If they can manage their time I know they'll have a great presence on our team. They each bring something tangible skill-wise, and they've made a good first impression with their teammates in terms of their effort and buy-in."

Navy opens its season with games Nov. 13 at Hofstra and Nov. 15 at Saint Peter's (N.J.) before opening a four-game homestand Nov. 22 against North Carolina A&T. Ticket information for the 2015-16 season will be announced next week.
