ANNAPOLIS, Md. â€" The Navy men's basketball team (12-5, 3-1 PL) will begin a two-game homestand by hosting Loyola (4-11, 3-1 PL) on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Alumni Hall. The winner of the Navy-Loyola game will take sole possession of second place in the league standings behind first-place Bucknell (5-0).

The Navy-Loyola game will be streamed for free on the Patriot League Network and the game can be heard on the radio on 1430 AM / 99.9 FM WNAV and 1500 AM WFED with Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary on the call. Live statistics will also be available.

Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy (12-5, 3-1 PL) is coming off a 71-68 overtime win at Colgate on Saturday.
• Tim Abruzzo made the game-tying field goal at the end of regulation and the Mids made 10 free throws in overtime, including three in the last 15 seconds by junior guard Zach Fong.
• Senior center Will Kelly had 12 points, eight rebounds, eight blocks and four assists and Shawn Anderson scored 21 points.
• Navy had lost its last six overtime games before winning in OT against Colgate.
• Kelly's eight blocks matched his career high and moved him into third place on Navy's all-time block list with 159.
• Kelly ranks 10th in the NCAA in total blocks (47) and he is 14th in blocks per game (2.76).
• Kelly is this week's NAAA Athlete of the Week.
• In addition to Anderson's 21 points at Colgate, he scored 16 points in Navy's win at Boston University last week.
• For his efforts, Anderson was named the Lids Team Sports Patriot League Player of the Week on Monday.
• Anderson is fourth in the Patriot League in scoring in conference only games at 18.0 a contest.
• In overall games, Anderson leads the team in scoring at 13.2 points and sophomore forward Jace Hogan is second at 10.8 points.
• Navy ranks 14th in the NCAA in scoring defense, allowing 62.2 points per game.
• Navy has won three straight Patriot League games for the first time since 2011.
• Navy's last four-game conference winning streak was eight years ago in the 2008 season.
• A win over Loyola would give Navy its best start (4-1) to Patriot League play since the 2001 season.
• Navy is one win away from matching its overall win total of 13 from last season.
• Navy is tied with Army West Point, Monmouth and Arkansas-Little Rock for the most road wins in the NCAA with seven.

Loyola Storylines
• Loyola enters Wednesday's game at 4-11 overall and 3-1 in Patriot League play.
• Loyola was 1-10 in non-conference play, but opened league action with three straight wins over American (75-67), Lafayette (81-78) and Lehigh (51-50).
• The Greyhounds are coming off a 73-59 loss to Army West Point on Saturday.
• Junior forward Jarred Jones leads the Greyhounds 13.4 points and 8.2 rebounds. He ranks second in the Patriot League in rebounding.
• Sophomore guard Andre Walker is second on the team in scoring at 13.2 points and is first in assists (3.7), while senior guard Tyler Hubbard is third in scoring at 11.8 points.

Series History vs. Loyola
• Navy leads the all-time series against Loyola, 22-6.
• Navy swept the season series against Loyola last year, winning in Annapolis on Dec. 31, 70-47, and winning at Loyola on Feb. 28, 57-47.
• Worth Smith, a 2015 graduate, averaged 20.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in Navy's two wins against Loyola last season.
• Navy is 12-3 against Loyola in games in Annapolis.

Looking Ahead
• Navy will continue its homestand by hosting Lafayette on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
• The annual Navy men's basketball alumni game will be played at 3:00 PM and will be open to the public.
• Navy will be honoring members of the 1985-86 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight Team at the Navy-Lafayette game, as this is the 30th anniversary of that season.

• Basketball Jersey Night â€"All fans wearing a basketball jersey can receive free admission to the game.

Parking / Shuttle Information
All fans are encouraged to park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and take the fan shuttle to Alumni Hall. Fans can enter Gate 5 off Taylor Avenue and pay $5 for parking. The shuttle is free and the pick up and drop off spot is in front of the Blue Angel plane. All fans visiting the Yard over the age of 18 should have photo ID. Buses will run every 15 minutes starting at 6:00 PM and will continue running throughout the game and until one hour after the completion of the game. Parking at the stadium is the best option for fans attending the game.
