ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's basketball team (13-5, 4-1 PL) will host Lafayette (5-11, 2-3 PL) on Saturday at 7:00 PM in Alumni Hall. Navy is seeking a fifth straight conference win.

Navy will recognize members of the 1986 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight team on Saturday at halftime. This is the 30th anniversary of the team's historic run.

The 2016 Navy Basketball Alumni Game will be played at 3:00 PM at Alumni Hall. Admission to the Alumni Game is free and the game is open to the general public.

Saturday's Navy-Lafayette game will have free streaming video on the Patriot League Network. The game can also be heard on the radio on 1430 AM / 99.9 FM WNAV in Annapolis and on 1090 AM WBAL in Baltimore, Md. Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary will have the call on the video stream and on the radio. Live statistics will also be available.

Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy has won four straight conference games for the first time since 2001.
• The Mids have defeated Holy Cross, Boston U., Colgate and Loyola during its run.
• Navy most recently defeated Loyola, 60-52, on Wednesday evening, rallying from an eight-point second-half deficit.
• Senior point guard Tilman Dunbar scored 15 points against Loyola and sophomore forward Jace Hogan added 10.
• Senior center Will Kelly blocked six shots against Loyola after blocking eight against Colgate last Saturday.
• Kelly ranks second in the NCAA in total blocks (53) and is eighth in blocked shots per game (2.94).
• A win by Navy over Lafayette would surpass last season's win total of 13 and head coach Ed DeChellis will have increased the team's win total for the fourth straight season.
• The program record for longest streak of increasing the team's previous year win total is five, which happened from 1982 to 1986 and also from 2005 to 2009.
• Navy's last five-game conference winning streak was during the 2008 season when the Mids rattled off six-straight Patriot League victories.
• At 4-1, Navy is off to its best conference start since opening at 6-1 in 2001.
• Navy is 13-0 this season when scoring at least 60 points and 0-5 when failing to reach 60.
• Sophomore guard Shawn Anderson is this week's Patriot League Player of the Week and Kelly is this week's NAAA Athlete of the Week.
• Navy ranks 14th in the NCAA in scoring defense, allowing 61.6 points per game.
• The Mids rank first in the Patriot League in scoring defense (61.6), rebounding defense (30.9), rebounding margin (+5.6), blocked shots per game and (4.4).
• Anderson is Navy's leading scorer at 12.9 points and sophomore forward Jace Hogan is second at 10.8.
• Dunbar is third in scoring at 9.0 points and junior guard Tim Abruzzo is fourth at 8.7.

Lafayette Storylines
• Lafayette (5-11, 2-3 PL) is coming off a 65-52 win over Holy Cross on Wednesday.
• Zach Rufer scored 16 points and Nick Lindner added 13.
• Lindner leads the team and ranks fifth in the Patriot League with 16.8 points per game and he has 992 in his career.
• Bryce Scott is second on the team in scoring at 13.5 points per game and Matt Klinewski is third at 12.9.
• Scott has missed the last three games with an injury.
• The Leopards are 10th in the Patriot League in scoring defense, giving up 81.6 points per game.
• Lafayette won the 2015 Patriot League Tournament Championship as the #4 seed before falling to Villanova in the NCAA Tournament, 93-52.
• Fran O'Hanlon is in his 21st season at Lafayette and is the longest-tenured coach in the Patriot League.

Series History vs. Lafayette
• Navy leads the all-time series against Lafayette, 43-32.
• The teams split the season series in 2015 and each team won on the other's home court.
• Navy is 32-13 against Lafayette in games played in Alumni Hall.
• Navy will finish the season series at Lafayette on Feb. 13.

Looking Ahead
• Navy will next play at Lehigh on Wednesday, Jan. 20 before facing Army West Point in the Star Game in Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, Jan. 23.

Parking / Shuttle Information
All fans are encouraged to park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and take the fan shuttle to Alumni Hall. Fans can enter Gate 5 off Taylor Avenue and pay $5 for parking. The shuttle is free and the pick up and drop off spot is in front of the Blue Angel plane. All fans visiting the Yard over the age of 18 should have photo ID. Buses will run every 15 minutes starting at 6:00 PM and will continue running throughout the game and until one hour after the completion of the game. Parking at the stadium is the best option for fans attending the game.

A shuttle will also be running in support of the Alumni Game, beginning at 2:30 PM on Saturday.
