Navy closes out its week on the road with a Saturday afternoon game at Lafayette.

About Lafayette
Lafayette enters the game following a 66-49 loss at Holy Cross Wednesday night that dropped its overall record on the year to 3-12 and its Patriot League mark to 1-4. The Leopards have posted a 3-3 record at home this season, which includes a 1-2 record in the Kirby Sports Center against league foes.

The Series
Navy and Lafayette have met annually since the 1979-80 season. This is the longest continuous series (38th consecutive season) against an opponent in Navy history, and the Mids have played more games against the Leopards (66, including Saturday) than any other foe.

Navy holds a 44-21 lead in the all-time series, which includes a 16-13 advantage in games played in Easton. The Mids also have a 34-14 advantage in Patriot League regular season games played between the teams. Navy has a 14-10 edge in league games played at Lafayette.

Seven of the last 10 games the teams have played in Easton have been decided by five or fewer points, with eight games during this decade being decided by single digits. This includes overtime games played in 2006 and 2013.

Navy has compiled a 7-3 record in its last 10 games played at the Kirby Sports Center.

A Look Back
Navy's offense was held to a season-low point total in a 51-38 loss at Loyola Wednesday night.

The Mids took a 14-13 lead at the end of the first quarter, but despite scoring a season-low four points in the second quarter, trailed the Greyhounds by just 22-18 at halftime. Loyola slowly edged its way out to a 35-25 lead midway through the third period and led by at least eight points over the remainder of the game.

In addition to its 38 points, the Mids also set season lows for field goals made (15), field goal percentage (27.3%) and three-point field goal percentage (17.4%).

Taylor Dunham scored 11 points to lead the Mids, with Peyton Winters contributing six points, eight rebounds, two blocks and one assist.
