The Game Navy will open its 2016-17 home slate by playing host to Hofstra Friday at 7 p.m. The game will be carried on local radio station WNAV-AM 1430 starting at 6:45 p.m. Links to a free live video stream via the Patriot League Network and live statistics from the game can be found at NavySports.com.

Navy Update Navy opened its season by dropping a pair of road games over the weekend. The Mids first lost a 75-65 decision to Wake Forest on Nov. 11, then fell 85-55 to No. 13/14 Tennessee on Nov. 13.

Hofstra Update Hofstra posted a pair of victories overnthe opening few days of the season, defeating Marist, 62-42, at home and going on the road for a 67-64 win at Stony Brook.

The Series Hofstra rallied late for a 65-63 victory over Navy one year ago in Hempstead, N.Y. That game was just the second in the series between the team and the first since they originally met in Annapolis in the spring of 1982. The lone additional game in the series saw Hofstra post a 77-76 victory over Navy on March 9, 1982, as part of the EAIAW Mid-Atlantic Regional that was held on The Yard.

Tickets
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth online in advance of the game at NavySports.com. The Alumni Hall Ticket Office will open one hour prior to the start of the game.

Canned Food Drive
As Thanksgiving approaches, bring a minimum of three canned food items to receive FREE admission into the game. Meet the Mids
The first 100 kids in attendance will receive a FREE Navy Basketball T-Shirt and the Navy Women's Basketball team will sign autographs for all fans after the game.
Bring Your "A" Game
K-12 Students who show an "A" grade on a report card or graded assignment will get into the game for FREE
Camper Reunion
All Navy Basketball campers are invited to join us for a camper reunion. If you have been a part of a Navy Basketball Camp, you get FREE admission into the game!
Billy the Kid Club Game
Billy the Kid Club members are invited to the game for FREE admission. All family and friends of Billy the Kid Club members can purchase tickets for $3.

USNA Vehicle Access
Vehicle access to the U.S. Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card. It is suggested that everyone else park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5. per vehicle) and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the game. Shuttle bus service will begin one hour prior to tip. Note that a government issued identification card must be carried and presented by visitors ages 18 and older to the USNA prior to being allowed onto The Yard. Visitors from Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico or Washington State, must produce their driver's license AND a second ID card before being admitted.
