CENTER VALLEY, Pa. â€"â€" Navy's Kaila Clark (Fr., Hughesville, Md.) has been selected as this week's Patriot League Rookie (Freshman) of the Week for women's basketball. The league office made the announcement on Wednesday.

Clark garnered the first weekly nod of her career for her efforts in Navy's 68-64 overtime loss at George Mason on Dec. 20. She totaled 10 points on 5-12 shooting from the field and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds in the game against the Patriots. Those tallies left her one point and one rebound shy of tying her respective season highs.

Navy, 7-4 this season, will open its Patriot League campaign Friday at Bucknell.
