The Game
Navy opens its 26th Patriot League campaign Friday night when the Mids play at Bucknell in a 6 p.m. contest. Links to a free live video stream of the game and live statistics from the contest will be available through NavySports.com.
Both teams last played games on Dec. 20.
Navy Update
Navy saw its four-game winning streak come to an end with a 68-64 overtime loss to George Mason in Fairfax, Va. The setback was just the second for the Mids over the last nine games, with those two losses coming by a total of seven points. Navy enters the league opener with a 7-4 record.
Bucknell Update
Bucknell has won each of its last three games as well as five of its last six to raise its record on the year to 8-3. Included among Bucknell's most recent games was a 77-66 victory over Cleveland State on Dec. 18. The Mids also defeated the Vikings this year, 88-63. The Bison have won each of the four home games they have played this season.
The Series
Bucknell holds a 32-28 advantage in the all-time series with Navy, including a 16-11 edge in games played in Lewisburg. The Bison also lead the Mids, 29-21, in Patriot League regular season games played between the programs. Bucknell's lead in league games played in Lewisburg against Navy is 16-9.
