Navy begins a regular season-ending span of back-to-back road games Saturday when the Mids travel to Lewisburg, Pa., to play at Bucknell.

About Bucknell
The Bison share first place in the Patriot League standings with a league mark of 15-1 as part of an overall record of 21-6. Bucknell has posted a record of 12-1 at home this season and is 9-0 against league foes at Sojka Pavilion heading into Saturday.

Nine of Bucknell's 15 league wins have come in games decided by 10 or fewer points, and the team's lone league loss this year was a 68-63 loss at Army West Point.

The Series
Bucknell's 51-41 victory over Navy earlier this season gave the Bison a 31-28 advantage in the all-time series with the Mids. This includes a 28-21 cushion in league regular season games played between the squads.

Bucknell also holds leads over Navy in games played in Lewisburg by the counts of 15-11 overall and 15-9 in league games.

Navy has posted a 13-6 record against Bucknell under head coach Stefanie Pemper, an overall record that includes marks of 5-3 in games played in Lewisburg and 9-6 in league regular season games.

A Look Back
Navy outscored American 20-6 in the fourth quarter to record a 65-52 victory Wednesday night in Alumni Hall.

Lone senior Peri Curtis was honored prior to the start of the game, and she carried over that excitement by scoring the team's first eight points and sinking all five of her field goal attempts in the first quarter of play. Despite that effort, the Mids still ended the first quarter trailing 18-15.

American soon built a 28-17 lead midway through the second quarter. Navy responded with a 9-0 run to close to within one point, then ended the stanza with a 6-0 run to take a 32-30 lead at the break. The Eagles regained the lead early in the third quarter and took a 46-45 lead into the final frame.

The Mids notched the first four points of the fourth quarter as part of a 9-2 run that gave them a 54-48 lead. American winnowed the margin down to 54-52, but a three-point basket Sarita Condie followed by another field goal from Condie on Navy's next possession boosted the Mids out to a 59-52 lead.

Navy tied a season high by shooting 50 percent from the field. The Mids also held a 36-21 lead on the boards, including a 12-2 edge on the offensive glass.

Five Mids scored at least nine points in the game, with Curtis leading the team in points (13), rebounds (8) and steals (4). Additionally, nine Mids played at least 10 minutes of the contest.

Playoff Picture
Navy's playoff picture still is somewhat blurry with two games remaining. The Mids are assured of garnering one of the seeds from Nos. 3-6, but each one of those four options remains on the table.

Navy enters the weekend in a tie for fourth place with Loyola and Holy Cross. Each of those three teams sits one game in back of third-place Lehigh. The Mids posted 1-1 records this season against all three foes.
