ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy women's golf team will compete at the William & Mary Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday at the Kingsmill Resort Golf Course. The tournament will consist of 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. The River Course measures 6,043 yards and is a par 72.

The 19-team field will consist of William & Mary, Navy, Bethune-Cookman, Boston University, Delaware, Eastern Michigan, Fairleigh Dickinson, Lehigh, Longwood, Northern Illinois, Penn, Radford, Richmond, Sacred Heart, St. Francis U, St. John's, Toledo, Towson and Wagner.

Navy has competed in William & Mary's tournament in each of the last three seasons. The tournament has formerly been known as the C&F Bank Intercollegiate and the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate.

Navy placed 27th out of 28 teams in 2013, 12th out of 13 teams in 2014 and its best finish was placing seventh out of 16 teams last year with a three-round score of 961 (319-322-320; +97).

Navy most recently competed at the Wofford's Low Country Intercollegiate from March 19-20. The Mids shot a two-round score of 648 (328-320) to place 15th in the 18-team field.

Sophomore Christine Walker was Navy's top finisher at the Low Country Intercollegiate, shooting a 155 (78-77) to tie for 16th place. Senior Renata Bucher was Navy's second finisher as she tied for 55th place with a 163 (84-79).

Walker is leading Navy in scoring average with an 80.8 and sophomore Kellyanne Hurst is second with an 81.7. Navy's team average is currently 326.7.

Navy's lineup will consist of Walker, Hurst, Bucher, Mary Kate Nelson and Legare Augenstein. Jane Moon will be competing as an individual.

Navy will next host its own home spring tournament from April 9-10 at the Naval Academy Golf Club.
