CENTER VALLEY, Pa. â€"â€" Three members of the Navy women's basketball team earned placement onto the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for the sport that was announced Wednesday by the league office. A total of 76 women's basketball players were named to the team, which required student-athletes to attain at least a 3.20 grade-point average during the 2016 spring semester.

Peri Curtis (Coronado, Calif.), the team's lone member of the Class of 2016, led the squad with a 3.33 GPA during her final term on The Yard. The international relations major will begin her naval career as an ensign aboard the USS Mitscher.

Joining Curtis in garnering the laurel were rising senior Sarita Condie (Lovelock, Nev.), who posted a 3.31 GPA as an English major, and Bianca Roach (Virginia Beach, Va.), who completed her freshman year with a 3.28 GPA. Roach will begin work this fall toward a degree in chemistry.
