The Game
Navy will complete the first half of the 18-game Patriot League season Saturday when the Mids play a 1 p.m. game at Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. The Patriot League Network will carry a live video stream of the game, with links to both that as well as live statistics from the game being available at NavySports.com.
Navy Update
Navy earned its seventh win of the Patriot League campaign Saturday when it posted a 63-58 victory at Army West Point. The Mids enter this weekend with a 7-1 record against league foes and a 14-5 mark overall.
Holy Cross Update
Holy Cross opened the league season with four-straight losses, but has since won three of the last four games it has played. The Crusaders most recently won a 61-60 decision at American, which gave them a league mark of 3-5 and an overall record of 5-14.
The Series
Holy Cross holds a 42-18 advantage in the all-time series with Navy, and has posted a 22-7 record in games played in Worcester, Mass. The Crusaders also have edges over the Mids in both all league games played (35-16) and league contests played on its home court (18-7). However, Navy's 57-56 victory over Holy Cross earlier this season gave the Mids a 14-6 record against the Crusaders under head coach Stefanie Pemper. This includes a 12-5 mark in league games. Pemper's Mids have compiled a 6-2 record against the Crusaders at the Hart Center.
