The Game

Navy Update
Navy won its second-straight narrow game Friday night when it posted a 62-59 victory at Boston U. The win improved the record for the Mids to 2-1 in Patriot League play. Those three games have been decided by a total of seven points.

Colgate Update
Colgate recorded a 62-54 victory at Holy Cross to improve its record to 2-1 on the young league season. The Raiders won four league games during the entire 2015-16 Patriot League campaign.

The Series
Navy leads the all-time series with Colgate by the count of 38-18. This includes a 33-17 advantage in Patriot League regular season games played between the teams. The Mids have won each of the last nine games in the series as well as 12 of the last 13 meetings. Navy also holds a narrow 13-12 edge in games played in Hamilton, with all of those games being Patriot League regular season contests. The Mids have won on each of their last four trips to Hamilton, but the last two games have been decided by a total of six points.
