Navy to Host Loyola in Men's Basketball Wednesday

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's basketball team (13-11, 8-4 PL) will host Loyola (13-10, 7-5 PL) on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Alumni Hall. Navy is tied for second in the Patriot League with Boston University and Loyola is one game back in a tie with Lehigh for fourth place.

Wednesday's game will feature a Campus Insiders-enhanced free live video stream on PatriotLeague.TV and navysports.com. Matt Martucci and Pat O'Keefe will have the broadcast call on the Campus Insiders stream. Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary will have the radio call on 1430 AM / 99.9 FM WNAV in Annapolis. Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy (13-11, 8-4 PL) had its eight-game winning streak snapped with a 55-52 loss at Colgate on Saturday.
• Navy rallied from a 13-point deficit and had two chances to take the lead in the final 13 seconds and a chance to tie at the buzzer, but came up empty on each opportunity.
• Navy shot a season-low 33 percent from the floor against Colgate and 19 percent on 3-pointers.
• Junior Shawn Anderson led Navy with 12 points, while sophomore Hasan Abdullah scored 11 and junior Bryce Dulin had nine points and eight rebounds.
• Junior Tom Lacey pulled down nine rebounds, with six coming on the offensive end.
• Navy sits in a tie for second place in the Patriot League with Boston University at 8-4. Bucknell is in first place with a three-game lead at 11-1.
• Navy's eight-game winning streak was its longest since winning 13 straight in 2000.
• Anderson leads Navy in scoring at 12.4 points per game. He is first on the team in assists (3.2) and second in rebounding (4.9).
• Anderson ranks 33rd in program history with 840 points.

• Abdullah ranks 28th in the NCAA in total steals (47).
• Lacey leads Navy in rebounding (8.0) and averages 8.1 points.

Loyola Storylines
• The Greyhounds enter Wednesday's contest at 13-10 overall and tied for fourth in the Patriot League at 7-5.
• Loyola has won its last four games against Holy Cross (65-62), Lafayette (70-62), Lehigh (62-60) and Army West Point (78-63) on Saturday.
• Loyola's four-game conference winning streak is its longest since joining the Patriot League prior to the 2013-14 season.
• Junior guard Andre Walker was named the Patriot League Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning layup and tallying 19 points in the win over Lehigh and recording 25 points in the win over Army.
• Jarred Jones had 16 points and 10 rebounds against Army on Saturday, while Cam Gregory posted 14 points and 10 rebounds.
• Walker leads Loyola in scoring at 15.3 points and Jones is second at 14.9.
• Walker leads the Patriot League in free throw percentage (.870).
• Walker was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team last season and to the preseason all-league team this year.

Series History vs. Loyola
• Navy holds a 25-6 lead in the all-time series against Loyola and has won five straight games against the Greyhounds.
• Navy will look to sweep the season series against Loyola for the third straight season.
• Navy defeated Loyola, 75-62, in Baltimore on Jan. 11 of this season.
• Shawn Anderson scored 15 points with seven rebounds, five assists and two steals, while Bryce Dulin tallied 14 points and seven rebounds.

Parking / Shuttle Information
All fans attending the game are encouraged to park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Fans can enter Gate 5 off Taylor Ave. and pay $5 for parking. The shuttle is free and the pick up and drop off spot is in front of the Blue Angel plane. The shuttle will run from one hour before the start of the game to one hour after the game concludes. Fans ages 18 and over need photo ID to enter the Academy. Parking at the stadium is the best option for fans attending the game. Due to Naval Academy security restrictions, the general public can not drive their vehicles on to the Yard. The pedestrian entries at Gate 1, Gate 3 and Gate 8, will be open.
