The Game
Navy will play the first of two road games this week on Wednesday when the Mids play at Loyola in a 7 p.m. game. The Patriot League Network will carry a live video stream of the game, with links to both that as well as live statistics from the game being available at NavySports.com.
Navy Update
Navy saw its nine-game winning streak and 10-game home winning streak come to an end Saturday with a 69-61 loss to Colgate in Alumni Hall. The Mids enter the week with a 9-2 record in league play and a 16-6 mark overall.
Loyola Update
Loyola has posted an overall record of 9-13 this season, which includes a 5-6 record in league play. Four of the team's five league wins have come at home (4-2 in league home games). The Greyhounds have lost each of their last two games to Lehigh and Army West Point, both on the road, which followed wins over Colgate and Lafayette at home.
The Series
Navy holds a 17-7 lead in the all-time series with Loyola, which includes a 6-5 advantage in games played in Baltimore. The Mids also hold slim a 5-2 lead in league games since the Greyhounds joined the Patriot League for the 2013-14 season, but Loyola has won two of the three league games that have been played in Baltimore. The home team has compiled a 7-1 record in the series since the start of the 2013-14 season (includes last year's Patriot League Tournament game played in Baltimore), as well as a 10-2 record since the start of the 2009-10 season. The Mids won the first meeting of the season between the teams, 77-51, on Jan. 11 in Alumni Hall.
