The Game
Navy opens play in the Patriot League Tournament Monday night when the Mids face Lafayette in the quarterfinal round of the event in Alumni Hall. Local radio station WNAV (AM-1430, FM-99.9) will carry the game starting at 6:45 p.m. Links to live video via the Patriot League Network and live statistics can be found at NavySports.com.

Navy Update
The No. 2 seeded Mids closed the regular season with a 60-44 victory over American March 1 in Alumni Hall. The victory snapped a two-game losing streak for Navy and gave it a league record of 14-4 (7-4 in games decided by single digits) and an overall mark of 21-8.

Lafayette Update
Lafayette won the program's first true road game in the Patriot League Tournament Saturday when the No. 10 Leopards defeated No. 7 Holy Cross 58-54 in Worcester, Mass. The win was the second in a three-game span for Lafayette which tallied a 2-16 record in league play (1-8 in games decided by single digits) and has now posted a 4-27 record on the year.

The Series
Navy holds a 48-21 advantage in the all-time series with Lafayette, including a 30-7 edge in games played in Annapolis. The Mids also have posted a 4-1 record against the Leopards in the Patriot League Tournament, which includes a 3-0 mark in tournament games played on The Yard. The teams most recently met in the quarterfinal round of the 2013 league tournament. No. 2 Navy edged No. 7 Lafayette 59-55 in overtime in that game played in Alumni Hall.

Tickets
Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for youth ages 17 and under and are available prior to the game through the Navy Ticket Office at either 1-800-US4-NAVY or NavySports.com. The Alumni Hall Ticket Office will open one hour prior to the start of the game.

USNA Vehicle Access
Vehicle access to the U.S. Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card. It is suggested that everyone else park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5. per vehicle) and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the game. Shuttle bus service will begin one hour prior to tip. Note that a government issued identification card must be carried and presented by visitors ages 18 and older to the USNA prior to being allowed onto The Yard. Visitors from Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico or Washington State, must produce their driver's license AND a second ID card before being admitted.
