ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's basketball team (13-8, 4-4 PL) will host first-place Bucknell (13-8, 7-1 PL) on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Alumni Hall. Wednesday's Navy-Bucknell game is presented by First Command. Navy's game against the reigning Patriot League Champions marks the halfway point of the 2017-18 conference schedule.

The Navy-Bucknell game will have free live video on the Patriot League Network and navysports.com. The game can also be heard on the radio on 1430 AM / 99.9 FM WNAV in Annapolis and on 1500 AM WFED in Washington, D.C. Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary will handle broadcasting duties on the live video stream and on the radio. Live statistics will also be available.

Midshipmen Storylines
• Navy enters Wednesday's game at 13-8 overall and 4-4 in the Patriot League. The Mids sit in fifth place in the Patriot League standings.
• Navy is coming off a 75-68 home loss to second-place Boston University on Wednesday.
• Navy was 8-of-27 on 3-pointers in the game for a percentage of 29.6.
• In Navy's last three losses (Colgate, Army, Boston) the team has shot a combined 20-of-78 (25.6 percent) on 3-pointers, an average of 6.7 made out of 26.0 attempts.
• In Navy's last three wins (American, Holy Cross and Lafayette) the team shot a combined 22-of-59 (37.2 percent), an average of 7.3 made out of 19.7 attempts.
• Junior forward George Kiernan led Navy with 22 points in the contest against Boston, while senior forward Tom Lacey had 12 points and a season-high 16 rebounds.

• Kiernan ranks fourth on the team in scoring at 9.5 points per game. He is averaging 13.1 points in Navy's eight Patriot League games this season.
• Kiernan ranks second in the Patriot League in free throw percentage in overall games (.863) and is third in conference only games (.861).
• Senior captain Shawn Anderson is leading Navy in scoring for the third straight season at 13.0 points per game.
• Anderson is also first in minutes played (30.6), second in rebounds (5.5) and second in assists (3.0).
• Anderson ranks 19th at Navy in career scoring with 1,206 points. He is 33 points away from tying Erik Harris `91 for 18th place at 1,239 points.
• Anderson ranks 12th at Navy in career assists (272), 12th in games played (115), 15th in games started (87), and 15th in minutes played (2,986).
• Anderson is one of just four players in school history to amass over 1,000 career points, 450 rebounds and 250 assists. The other three players are Kaleo Kina, Greg Sprink and Kylor Whitaker.
• Anderson was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team last season and also to the Patriot League All-Preseason Team prior to the 2017-18 season.
• Anderson is one of 30 candidates for the 2017-18 Senior CLASS Award.
• Senior guard Bryce Dulin ranks second on the team in scoring at 10.9 points. He has scored over 20 points a team-best five times this season.
• Junior point guard Hasan Abdullah is averaging 10.2 points and a team-high 3.8 assists.
• Abdullah ranks fourth in the Patriot League in assists per game in conference only games at 4.5.
• He is averaging 5.3 assists over Navy's last six games.
• Abdullah leads the team and the Patriot League in steals per game at 2.4.
• He ranks 15th in the NCAA in steals per game (2.4) and is eighth in overall steals with 50.
• Abdullah has had at least one steal in all of Navy's 21 games this season.
• Navy currently leads the Patriot League in scoring defense at 67.5 points allowed per game.
• Navy also ranks first in the Patriot League in rebounding margin (+5.3) and offensive rebounds per game (11.0).
• This is the third straight season that Navy has led the Patriot League in rebounding margin.

Bucknell Storylines
• Bucknell (13-8, 7-1 PL) enters Wednesday's game in first place in the Patriot League, and the Bison have won six games in a row.
• Bucknell's only loss in league play was to Boston U. (84-79) on Jan. 2.
• The Bison last defeated Holy Cross, 77-56, on Saturday.
• Senior forward Zach Thomas scored 18 points, while senior center Nana Foulland scored 14 with seven rebounds against Holy Cross.
• Thomas leads Bucknell and the Patriot League in both scoring (21.2 ppg) and rebounding (9.5 rpg) this season.
• Foulland is second on the team and fifth in the conference in scoring (16.0). He is also second on the team in rebounding (6.7). Foulland leads the Patriot League with 1.7 blocks per game.
• Senior point guard Stephen Brown is averaging 13.1 points and 4.6 assists.
• Bucknell is back at full strength with the recent returns of junior guard Kimball McKenzie and sophomore guard Avi Toomer. Both were starters last season along with Thomas, Foulland and Brown.
• McKenzie missed 10 games this season due to injury and Toomer missed 16.
• In conference only games, Bucknell leads the Patriot League in scoring offense (77.8), scoring defense (65.2), scoring margin (+12.5) and rebounding margin (+7.6).
• Bucknell won the 2017 Patriot League Tournament Championship.

• Bucknell swept the regular season series against Navy last year, winning a close 59-55 game in Annapolis and then taking an 82-60 win in Lewisburg.

• In the game in Lewisburg last season, the Bison went on a demoralizing 25-0 run in the first half to take a 30-4 lead.

• A layup by Shawn Anderson pulled Navy within one at 66-65 with 1:05 left, but McKenzie responded with a 3-pointer with 40 seconds remaining. Navy then turned the ball over on its next possession.
• Bucknell made just one free throw to go ahead by five, and then Navy missed three 3-pointers in the closing seconds.
• Anderson scored 21 points for Navy in the semifinal game.

Looking Ahead: Navy at Lehigh on Saturday
• Navy will begin the second half of the Patriot League schedule at Lehigh on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
• Navy defeated Lehigh in Annapolis on Jan. 2, 78-66.
• George Kiernan scored 27 points in the win, while Hasan Abdullah scored 17 and Cam Davis added 14.
• Lehigh is currently 3-5 in Patriot League play and the Mountain Hawks sit in sixth place.
• Lehigh will host Loyola on Wednesday before hosting the Mids on Saturday.

Shuttle / Parking Information
All fans attending the game are encouraged to park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Fans can enter Gate 5 off Taylor Ave. and pay $5 for parking. The shuttle is free and the pick up and drop off spot is in front of the Blue Angel plane. The shuttle will run from one hour before the start of the game to one hour after the game concludes. Fans ages 18 and over need photo ID to enter the Academy. Parking at the stadium is the best option for fans attending the game. Due to Naval Academy security restrictions, the general public can not drive their vehicles on to the Yard. The pedestrian entries at Gate 1, Gate 3 and Gate 8, will be open.
