Live stats will be available for the game.

Last Time Out
A matchup between two of the top teams in the Patriot League lived up to its billing on Friday night as a 0-0 stalemate between Navy and Boston University covered the first 87:27 of action before the host Terriers (5-7-2, 4-0-1 PL) found the back of the net with a Taylor Kofton goal with less than three minutes left in regulation. Coming into the game as the only undefeated team in the conference, the Mids (7-4-3, 4-1 PL) put forth a strong defensive effort in the contest at Nickerson Field.

For the game, Boston outshot Navy, 12-4 with a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Terriers also tallied five corner kicks versus one for the Mids.

Before Friday night's result, Boston handed Navy its last Patriot League regular season lost on Oct. 29, 2016 as the Mids went 8-0-1 in 2017 and 4-0 to start 2018.

Navy vs. Delaware State
The Mids and Hornets will meet for the fifth time in a series that began in 2008. Since the first matchup on Oct. 6, 2008, Navy has gone 4-0 versus Delaware State and out-scored its opponent by a 15-0 margin. Following the opening game of the series (W, 5-0), the Mids earned a 2-0 victory in Dover on Sept. 27, 2009 and a 6-0 win on Oct. 3, 2010. Last year on Aug. 25, the Mids earned a 2-0 victory.

2017 Recap
Navy won its first game of 2017 on August 25 with a 2-0 road victory versus Delaware State. Playing at the Delaware Turf Sports Complex, the Mids got on the scoreboard in the fourth minute and never looked back as the visitors controlled possession and the scoreboard over the Hornets. Ash Fairow and Eleanor Pratt netted the goals for Navy in support of Sydney Fortson's first career shutout in goal.

Navy controlled possession over Delaware State from the opening kickoff and that quickly resulted in a goal in the fourth minute as Fairow deposited a header past the Hornets' goalkeeper. The scoring drive began with a play in from the corner by Baseley McClaskey, who found Cadie Higginson in the middle. After gathering the pass, Higginson flipped the ball towards the six-yard line where Fairow connected for a header shot.

The ball continued to be possessed by the Mids for the majority first half as quick building passes in the midfield left the visitors with numerous good scoring chances. The pressure eventually paid off in the 37th minute when Pratt curled a shot to the far backside of the goal from 15 yards out. Natalie Dzhandzhapanyan earned the assist for her pass into Pratt following a short corner.

For the game, Navy outshot Delaware State, 12-4 with an 8-2 advantage in shots on goal. The Mids also took four more corner kicks at 5-1. 21 different players appeared in the game for Navy with 20 seeing between 24 and 90 minutes of play.
