About Navy
Navy is looking for its first win of the season after starting the year with losses on the road to Old Dominion and at home to Maryland.
 
About Coppin State
Coppin State opened the 2018-19 season with road losses at Wisconsin (85-63) and Dayton (76-46).  Following Wednesday's game against the Mids, the Eagles will take to the road again for a Friday game at Virginia.
Coppin State compiled a 5-27 record during the 2017-18 season –– with losses coming to teams such as Oregon, Cincinnati, Georgetown, UConn, West Virginia, Georgia Tech and Penn State –– and ended the year with a 5-11 record against MEAC foes (11th place).  The Eagles were predicted to finish in ninth place in the MEAC this season.

Five Starting Notes
* Navy posted a 70-53 victory over Coppin State when the teams met last season in Baltimore.
 
* Navy's George Kiernan led all players in scoring in last year's game with 17 points.  The leading returning scorer for Coppin State is Cedric Council (eight points).
 
* The only prior game in the three-game series to be played in Annapolis took place on Dec. 30, 2009.
 
* This is the middle game of a three-game homestand for the Mids, which is their longest of the season.
 
* Luke Loehr has scored 17 points through two games this season.  He totaled 10 points in three games played all of last season.
 
USNA Vehicle Access
Vehicle access to the U.S. Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card.  All other fans must park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5 per vehicle) and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the game. Please enter gate five off of Taylor Avenue.  Shuttle bus service will begin at one hour before tip time.  Note that a government issued identification card (driver's license) must be carried and presented by visitors ages 18 and older to the USNA prior to being allowed onto The Yard.
 
Tickets
Tickets remain on sale through the Navy Ticket office in advanced at 1-800-US4-NAVY or by clicking on the TICKETS tab in the masthead of NavySports.com, as well as on the evening of the game at the Alumni Hall box office.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth / seniors.  Group tickets (minimum 20) are also available at $5 for adults and $3 for youth/seniors.
