Navy Finishes 21st in Final Mid-Major Poll

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Navy men's basketball team placed 21st in the final College Insider Mid-Major Top-25 Poll of the 2025-26 season.  It is the first time Navy has appeared in the organization's final poll of a year.

The Mids compiled an overall record of 26-8, won the Patriot League regular season title with a 17-1 record and made the program's first postseason tournament appearance since 1998 by receiving a bid to the National Invitation Tournament.  

Mid-major designation is given to teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Coastal Athletic Association, Horizon League, Ivy League, Metro Atlantic Athletic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot League, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast, Western Athletic and major independents.
