"Coming here midweek, we always feel like American is a special game," head coach Cindy Timchal said after the game. "They are a long-time rival down here in D.C. in the Patriot League. We have a lot of respect for them. I am proud of our team coming down today and doing great on the offensive end. It is a good day for Navy women's lacrosse. We will take this and move forward when we take it on the road again against Lafayette."
